Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I have an idea - how do I share it?

I love the industry I work in, but my job is not 100% in the area I want to be in. But as I work, I see things in my industry related to the area of my interest that really could use improvement. I have looked all over for jobs in that particular area but none exist. There are a lot of non-profit organizations who dabble in that area but there are no companies who have dedicated positions for it.
I want to try to get my ideas and perspective out to certain companies, but how? How do I say "I see a whole area of our industry that needs improvement, please hire me to do this." I am becoming frustrated at my current job because I just so badly want to work in the area I am educated and passionate about, but I can't take a job that doesn't exist yet. Suggestions?
