The church just picked up a huge load of stuff for our sale (next August!). I am told there are definitely hockey shoulder pads if you'd like them for Liam's costume. I haven't laid eyes on them yet to tell you sizes (the ladies are still sorting) but I can look tomorrow. Just let me know!

So, I found a pair that is a size 4.  (The ladies left them outside of my office.   They rock.)  I have no idea if hockey equipment is sized the same way as clothing.  They look decently big to me.  They measure 16 inches from shoulder pad to shoulder pad tip to shoulder pad tip. (At least according to Solomon's play tape measure that is floating around my office!  That's how I roll!)

So, I'll keep looking, but at least you have a contingency play.  They are cloth covered, but I suspect they would spray paint rather well, even if you have to do more than one coat.  LMK some days that would work and I can meet you somewhere.
