Re: Weekend plans-post 'em here!

  • Tonight: my parents are coming to visit and we are going to get Mad Mex takeout (YUM)  DVR catch up after the kids are in bed, per usual.

Saturday: open house at daycare late morning with a picnic lunch, then meeting my bestie and her family are in from VA so we are meeting them and another family friend in Oakland to let the kids run around.

Sunday: church in the morning, steelers game in the afternoon.  I'm hopeful that maybe at some point I can transition the kids clothes out of summer and into fall....it's such a tedious task, I'm dreading it already!!!

  • Tonight: going to my parents' after work, my aunt is in from CA for her class reunion and is staying at their house tonight, plus I get baby time! >:D<

Saturday: Nathan is staining the ceiling of our porch, I plan on staying far away from that since it is not going well. I am going to try to get the rug out of the dining room to clean it. I also have a ton of laundry.

Sunday: grocery store, maybe switch out my closet. My closet is a MESS so it will give me a chance to get organized.

  • Tonight: We just got new carpet and our rooms are kind of a disaster, so we'll have to start putting them back together.  Then DVR catch up (yay!) and take out.

Saturday: The boys have soccer, then we're heading to Coolspring Maze.  Our neighbors are having a bonfire that night.

Sunday: Rich is going to the Steeler game, not sure what I will do with the boys.  I know that Garrett needs a haircut and like everyone else, I also need to get working on transitioning their closets!

I am also off M-W, woo hoo!  No real plans, just one on one time with Garrett.

  • No plans tonight. Get the kids to clean up the disaster they created in the dining room yesterday during our home day. Hopefully enjoying another porch dinner and maybe a post-dinner walk. Folding laundry, knitting and watching TV once the kids are asleep.

Saturday - Soccer in the morning. DH has afternoon errands to run. I'm hoping to straighten up around the house and deal with some long-neglected piles. Also, switch out the kids drawers and figure out what we're going to wear for family pictures next weekend.

Sunday - T has swim lessons in the morning. Groceries and hopefully some downtime in the afternoon.

We are busy the next three weekends, and then it is Halloween, so October is going to go quickly!

  • Tonight - soccer practice, then pizza and some DVR shows.  And also my favorite Amazing Race has been moved to Fridays so I will have to watch that, too.

Tomorrow-  soccer games, taking Noah shopping for pants, maybe switch out my closet for warmer clothes.

Sunday - WW, church and the usual laundry/housework.
  • EJ has soccer tomorrow for a couple of hours.  DH has an eye appointment.  Otherwise we don't have any other plans.  I want to get the nursery painted.  And the fan hung. But that will be done slowly, as my stamina is lower than before!  While I could have someone else do it, I really want to at least try. And I did the ceiling the other night and felt fine (it was cooking dinner after that wore me out :) )
  • Tonight - no plans

Tomorrow - Hayden has social skills in the morning and Gary is taking Nolan to a free lego event. We may meet up with family at Mingo Park later in the day to let the kids play and enjoy the scenery.

Sunday - Great Race 10k, laundry, make a nice dinner & prepare for the week. I also need to switch the kids clothes out and I dread doing it!

  • Tonight - Not much of anything. It's been a long week, so I think an evening of TV and hard cider is in order!

Tomorrow - Going out to breakfast than hitting up the Market District to give them all my money;)

Sunday - going to the Steelers game:)
  • Gwen, I think that everytime I go! But mostly because I just cannot resist buying all the deliciousness, especially cupcakes!

  • We were supposed to have a stay at home date night tonight (we have a fancy bottle of wine to drink!) but DH is stuck at O'Hare because of this:

Tomorrow we're going to the Pitt game, sunday we'll probably just hang out at home, watch football and nascar, and relax.
  • Today: on call for 24 hours :(. I like to remind people of this when they tell me it "must be nice to have days off during the week"

Saturday: attending a Super Saturday event but leaving early and going to munchkins soccer game then taking girls to meet up with a friend and her daughter at Hartwoid Acres Hay Day (while DH aerates the yard and preps our worm bind) then friends are coming over for dinner

Sunday: birthday party at Excel in afternoon

  • All plans are dependent on whether or not I can stand up without getting nauseous.  I hate to complain, but this kind of sucks.  My parents want us to go with them to Moraine and take the boat out.  That seems a little ambitious...

  • lala-have you talked to your doctor about zofran?  It was life changing for me until I was around 16 weeks.  Hope you're feeling better soon!! :(

I called yesterday.  I'm waiting for dh to bring it home today.  Fingers crossed!!  I really hate to take meds while pregnant, but I really can't just lay on the floor for the next 6 weeks either.

especially not with 2 other little ones!  I thought I had some nausea with Jake, then I was pregnant with Liam and that just blew any sickness I had with Jake out of the water, made it seem like nothing!  I couldn't function.  I was also stubborn about the meds and turned them down at my dr's office initially, then when I was around 8 weeks I was in the ER for bleeding (turned out to be a subchorionic hemorrhage) and while I was there (and puking waiting for my ultrasound) they told me I was really dehydrated and needed to start the zofran right away.  that was the wake up call I needed!!  I still had nausea from time to time even on the meds, but it was so much better.
