Advice for converting dining room to bedroom?
Hi! This is my first time posting to The Nest! I was on The Knot and lurked on The Bump...
We are expecting baby #2 and we are having to convert our formal dining room that is right off the living room into a bedroom. It has a 9ft opening. This is going to be temporary until my 24 yr old brother moves out in a year (HOPEFULLY!)
We were thinking of doing bi-fold doors on a track, but I don't know if there is a cheaper and more visually pleasing way to do it. We really don't want to sheerock and frame in the doorway because it will go back to a formal dining room.
Any suggestions?
Thank you so much in advance!

Maybe some of the large "barn doors" that are really popular right now? That's assuming you have the wall space though.

If your taste is more modern you could do white flat panel doors with stainless or nickel hardware.
