What happening this weekend?

My BFF (the one who's getting married soon) is in town for work, so we're meeting up for dinner tomorrow. Even though we live 3,000 miles apart, I'm so happy she has a job that requires frequent travel to DC : )

Nothing major planned. Our HOA is having a fall festival tomorrow, so I might try to hit that if the weather is nice enough.  Other than that, cleaning and laundry. And sleep, must get some sleep!

SIL and her boyfriend are in town from Vegas.  OMG Evan, her boyfriend kisses people on the cheek when he hugs them.  Anyway, he kissed my cheek and I started freaking out internally about Ebola, my rational side, gone. 

Tonight I don't know what we are doing.  It is supposed to snow.  WHAT?!  October is way too soon for snow.  Hopefully it's just a few flurries.

Tomorrow I have my baby shower.  Then going with the ILs to a wild game.  MIL got tickets for all of us.

Sunday MIL booked a house party with the medium I've talked about.  DH is actually talking to her this time.  I'm really excited to hear what he thinks of her.

Tonight, some friends are coming over to drink and play poker with H and my dad.  I'll probably lay on the couch and not move.

Tomorrow, we have a baby shower in the afternoon and nothing for the rest of the day.  I'm hoping I have energy to do some work around the house.  I'm so embarrassed at the mess we have going on!

Sunday, I have alterations for my bridesmaid dress which I am not looking forward to.  I was really hoping to be in better shape but I'm just glad I haven't gained any weight since I stopped working out religiously.  I can't wait for 2nd tri to get some energy back!

I read this as "to eat wild game" and I was a little horrified!

ILs are here. H is working today so I'm alone with them. Today we're going to the Amish farmers market, then outlets. I didn't get my last stretch of sleep last night because I wanted to shower this morning. Pray for me.

Tomorrow H will be here and we're going to the Amish craft market place.

Sunday idk depends on if the ILs are still here.

I want to just rest after this crazy week, but I have a wedding tmrw.  Other than that, I am recovering from this publishing process!  It's tough being the writer, editor, publisher, and marketing team all at once. #:-S

@Ramstein1027 is the wedding open bar? Going to an open bar wedding the weekend after my thesis defense was one of the best things that could have happened that weekend!

Good call!  Yes it it! It's my cousin's wedding that I've been really looking forward to.  They're having it at his new house on 30 acres in the country in the area DH and I want to move to--so I've been really excited for it.  

God, I know what you mean.  That first beer after I finished day 2 of the bar exam was the most delicious thing I've ever had.

Going out to dinner with the bestie tonight and hunting for stuff for our Halloween costumes. Saturday is a slightly early anniversary celebration with the husband, since our anniversary is Monday! We're going for dinner at the restaurant adjoining the venue where our wedding was. And Sunday may or may not be FIL's birthday party? IDK, his family has changed plans about half a dozen times so far.

Tomorrow- gym in the AM, pedicure, oil change, grocery shopping and then FIL is getting remarried....blah!

Sun- gym in the AM and then apple picking=)

Tonight - relaxing!! Welcome FALL BREAK!! I'm so excited to sleep in for the next 9 days! Hoping I don't develop the Hand, Foot, Mouth that has been passed around my classroom.

Tomorrow - H and I are planning on going to see Gone Girl! I can't wait. Then house cleaning.

Sunday - Football and more house cleaning!

Happy Anniversary to everyone celebrating this weekend!

We have no plans tonight. Tomorrow I was hoping to go to this store to get pumpkins, but it's supposed to rain. H may go to the house to clean some construction mess.

Sunday we're getting the paint for our downstairs so it can be painted on Monday! We're also going H's parents' house to celebrate FIL's birthday.

No idea for this weekend. I'm attempting to get over a really bad head cold. So I've been snuggled in bed with H since getting home from work.

We may be going into town tomorrow to visit the inlaws as long as I'm feeling well. H ordered my anniversary gift and forgot to change the address on his paypal account. So it went to their house by mistake. He figured out his other gift from me thanks to the internet. As long as Christmas isn't spoiled for him, I'll be happy.

Sunday we're probably just relaxing since H gets to spend our actual anniversary day on the road for work.

Tonight - nada. Heading to bed early since T decided this week he is no longer sleeping through the night!

Saturday - heading to meet with a lactation consultant to make sure I can keep my supply up while pumping. She's in my old college town an hour away so we are gonna make an afternoon of it. Maybe price out a king size bed In the evening.

Sunday - our 2nd Anniversary!!! Heading over the river and either doing lunch at the melting pot or the same restaurant on the hudson where we got engaged, had rehearsal dinner and our 1st anniversary dinner...tradition may win although he really wants to try the melting pot.
