I have my baby shower with DH's family tomorrow.  I can't stop looking at my registry, I have a problem.

Also, I'm selfishly super excited.  My sister paid for an elective ultrasound to determine the baby's sex.  He's having a boy too!!!!!!  Our sons are going to be 3 months apart!  She's 16 weeks so I hope it doesn't change at her 20 week scan.  I'm just so happy for her, she's been through so much.  The only person not happy is her almost 5 year old daughter who is telling everyone she's having a sister and yells when you say anything about it being a boy.  She also refuses to accept that Chalupa Batman is a boy.

I really want to go to an US clinic so I can see the little bean and make sure everything is ok.  H doesn't want me to go and says I need to be patient and relax.  I'm trying to come up with a reason for me leaving the office for an hour, but I can't seem to think of anything.  This is a major downside of working with my husband!

I had some time to kill before a meeting last night and there was a Macy's a block away.  I stopped in and started looking at the shoes, especially the riding boots because I'd like to get a pair this fall. I saw a pair that I really liked, so I picked them up to see how much they were not know that they were Coach boots for $400!!!! Why am I drawn to expensive things when I am unemployed and broke?!

Definately a surprise. The condom broke exactly one week after the end of my period and I ovulate on day 14 generally. I wasn't temping or anything so I don't know for sure.

I confess that it creeps me out seeing that my sister's now husband continues to like pictures on Facebook of a girl that we're both somehow friends with. (I have no idea how those two met. I knew her from high school since we were in marching band together)
I wonder if my sister knows..

#1 - I just realized this Monday is our anniversary thanks to the posts on here today. I knew it was Monday just not THIS Monday... Or like 3 days away Monday.

#2 - my friend (very very loose term here) had her baby today. My first thought - "yes! My kid is cuter". I feel like karma will kick my ass soon for that.

#3 - outlet shopping was so awkward today. Hs step-dad got E a trash bag full of receiving blankets, blankets, crib sheets when they got here. I am thankful, don't get me wrong. We go to the outlets and he bought her 9 more outfits. 9! He got her 5 back in July. He's seen her closet, she's fine on clothes. He also got her 2 more blankets, socks, a toy net... I guess my confession is, it weirds me out. I mean, I get buying stuff but this is a bit much. He spend at least $200 on her! And she's not even blood related... I feel like he just wants to flaunt his money. I'd rather him give her $$ to start a savings account or something. Then buy more stuff.
