At the restaurant we had our first date at.  It was really nice, but the guy sitting behind H kept staring at us because he knew what was going on, so it was a little distracting and uncomfortable that some random dude was all up in our business.

In the foyer of my apartment. I knew it was coming soon, so it was the only way for him to surprise me! I walked in the door and he was on one knee. I screamed so loud! It was perfect.

Speaking of engagements, my brother is supposed to be proposing in the next week sometime to his longtime girlfriend!!!

In a public park  under a blooming tulip tree in a cute, historic town.  There weren't a lot of people around though.  

ETA: He didn't do anything super romantic, but he got on his knee and asked if I would marry him.  He had made me a promise ring a year and half prior that I wore on my ring finger and when I saw him lowering to the ground I tugged off my promise ring and stuck out my hand.

We were in Pittsburgh on Halloween in costume. After dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe, we went to an amusement park for their Fright Night events. I kind of knew something was up because H hates roller coasters and he wanted to go on my favorite one at the park.
He asked on the last drop.

Well he planned a valentine's day cruise at the inner Harbor, but the ring wasn't ready. He worked me up thinking he had special plans... And he didn't think to still take me without the ring. So I came home to him in sweat Pants, saying to pick a place for dinner. You don't just pick a place on vday, I was so mad.

Next night he hid the ring in my laptop. He was in the shower and of course I didn't see it. He came our naked asking what my answer was.. Then I dropped it in the couch cushions. I made him put boxers on before putting it on my finger.

I knew it was coming. H was studying for the last section of the CPA exam, it was the next weekend. I didn't think he would ask until after the test. He was studying all day and then said he wanted to go for a walk. I didn't, but I felt bad saying no. He wanted to walk in this one place, but I didn't, but I still felt bad saying no. It was November and pretty cold. I almost asked to go home, but kept walking.

We walked on the path and he proposed on a bridge over a small waterfall. It was the spot where he first told me he loved me.

It was perfect and exactly how I would have wanted to be proposed to, if I planned it.

At a nice restaurant on the Hudson River. We go back every year now since we also had rehearsal dinner there and last years anniversary. Just wish it wasn't over an hour from our house!
