After a few months of being "married" I saw theknot had sent me some emails about this site so I checked it out today and just wanted to say hi

I didn't really see a board that has random facts or welcome...so since I am recently married I thought here would be okay.

I got married May 3rd 2014, right before then we bought our home that my husband built and got a new puppy.  Since then we have gotten another puppy (now at 3 dogs total- I question my sanity at times).

My husband works in construction and I am on my way to owning my families online company in the next year.  As of right now we want to enjoy ourselves together without kids as we can travel and build our life and become more prepared.

I am hoping to find a lot of new stuff on here and see what this site is all about

hi welcome aboard!  My anniversary is in May too! We got married 5/21/10.   What kind of dogs do you have?   We have a 2 year old cane corso and a 5 year old cat.

Another newbie (but I've been married almost 3 years!). Welcome! My husband was a general contractor before his current job. It's nice having someone so handy around to fix things in the house

Welcome! We were fully established before we got married.  We waited to start TTC at our honeymoon as I did not want to be pregnant while traveling in Europe, since it was our first time there and I wanted to be able to try different wines and drink on the cruise ship!!  We now have our first child. She is almost 19 months!!! We are waiting until we are a bit more established again before we TTC our 2nd! Did you guys take a honeymoon?  if so, where?

@chrisnjay05212010 We have a yorkie/dashound mix (4 years old), yorkie/maltese mix (7 months old), and a german shepard (10 months old)  I honestly feel like May is one of the best months to get married!!

@bekt14 I know right, we have to have a place to get to know each other!

@theholmanherd Oh the joys of having someone that can fix anything. It is such a blessing!

@tseguin  We had our honeymoon in the Riviera Maya, we are going to Costa Rica for our one year.  We have talked about kids but it is something we do want to wait on for a few more years and enjoy time together and traveling more

Hey! I am a newlywed here also.  I got married on 10/19/14!! I feel like there should be a newlywed board!  I am a registered nurse and my husband works for Lowes Home Improvement.  Our next steps would be buying a home, traveling, and having a family!! I am excited to start this journey and get some awesome tips and make new friends~~
