Anatomy Scan (Including creepy alien pics)

We had our anatomy scan yesterday, and are still going strong on team green!  

Baby is measuring perfectly and actually bigger than expected at this point.  They're keeping my due date the same for now, but the midwife said that she may not allow me to go to the date.  Of course, baby was being stubborn and wouldn't roll over so we could get a good profile picture or really see its face without going through the back of its head.  So here are pictures of the creepy face (eyes, nose, chin, and part of the chest), then the 2nd is of its legs.  I go back in 4 weeks for another one since she wasn't able to get some shots.

We also found at that time that my placenta is 1cm from my cervix.  So that will need to be monitored from here on out.  My cervix is also shortening at a faster pace than wanted.  So that will be monitored as well.  The MW wasn't concerned too much yet and didn't tell me to stop activity or anything, but did tell me to not run any further than 5 miles for now.  H did consult Google when we got home and he is now freaking out and doesn't want me to do anything at all, and is now worried about pre-term labor and bed rest.  So this could get interesting.  I'm way too active and stubborn to stop activity unless the Dr says to.

Way to go on keeping stong team green

I can relate to bedrest being a worry and a burden (last pregnancy I was dilated to 4cm at 33w thanks to preterm contractions...but he stayed in until 40w thanks to bedrest so it's worth it.)  It is isn't ideal not being able to do anything when you are used to being active, but I wouldn't worry too much about your cervix until it is warranted. 

I also have previa (mine is marginal, so touching the cervix but not covering).  I have my follow-up ultrasound for that on the 20th.  Here's to hoping it moves up for both of us! Chances are pretty good from what I understand.

@amccul20 We technically think we accidentally saw some balls and one of the u/s pics has the shadow of a penis in it. 

But we also have no idea what we're looking for.

I once thought I was looking at the penis and it was a bone...so yeah.

That's exactly what I keep telling H.  The tech could tell that we noticed something when we both gave each other a look, then she went to a different area until it settled its legs down so she could get her shots.  It very well could have been its fist between its legs when it was wiggling around, and the shadow could be a bone.  

We aren't going out and buying anything blue, and are still feeling 50/50 on what we think it is.

I still think you're having a girl, I bet it was just other body parts you saw.

I was convinced I saw peen on Delilah's 20 week u/s pic they gave us and was shocked they would give me a pic like that knowing I was team green. Obviously I had no idea what I was looking at because she is most definitely a girl.
