I just saw that ABC Family posted their 25 days of Christmas schedule and I squealed with joy.  Yes, I am THAT person counting down to Christmas when we are not even to Halloween yet. 

It's like being emotionally conflicted at all times...I love, love, love fall...it's my favorite...and I don't try to rush it.  But then I see something like that, and my love of Christmas just kicks into overdrive and I become blinded by the shininess of Christmas for a few moments.

I've been trying my hardest to stay positive during this pregnancy despite all the crazy medical crap I've dealt with throughout. This weekend, Logan shared his awful cold with me and I swear it was the straw that broke the camel's back. Laying on the couch feeling like death warmed over was my "why me?!" Nancy Kerrigan moment. Lol! Hormones and colds don't appear to mix.

Sarah, I am so sorry! I hope for your health this kid comes early!

OMG, I went to visit my SIL and brother in the hospital on Friday and took them dinner.  No one else  was visiting so I got two hours of baby snuggles. It was awesome. Although my arms seriously hurt because the kid is a chunk. 

I will share a pic of him and my niece.

On a not so happy note, there is something wrong with my bulldog and I just have a bad, bad feeling about it. He suddenly has vision issues, he had a seizure a couple weeks ago. I cannot do this again. Seriously, there is some kind of omen that every year we lose a dog. I am so dreading taking him to the vet on Thursday.

DS is still puking occasionally, and we are all so over it. Evidently he has DH's weak stomach  ;-)  It has been a super long week, and between my birthday cake and the 2 huge pieces of pumpkin roll that my SIL brought for me, I have eaten WAY too much junk food. Also, we are traveling this weekend, and we'll be eating a ton of junk then too. I think we'll probably have to eat salads for a long time after we get back!

I'm so sorry.  It's so hard to see a beloved pet having trouble.  Positive thoughts that it is something easily treatable.

Thanks girls! Our vet is really awesome and DH friend works there and we sent her pictures. There is just so many possibilities. I am also wondering in my husband knows more than he is letting on, since I was in tears on Saturday about him. It sucks.

oh no!  the stomach bugs are the absolute worst...I'd rather have a sore throat for a week than the stomach bug for a full day.  blah.  Hope everyone is ok soon! (and happy belated birthday!)

Kris - I'm so sorry that he's having problems! I hope the vet appointment goes okay!!

Sarah - I'd say I can't believe you're dealing with one more thing - but I can. I truly hope you are better soon!

Emmy - Shut your mouth about that holiday I'm not discussing til late November!!!

I guess my vent/confession is that I'm tired of weddings. I feel like a total wedding curmudgeon. I'm going to a shower Sunday and I'm annoyed at where they registered, annoyed I have to drive an hour and a half each way (and do it again for the wedding in December - everyone wish for a snowstorm the first weekend in December - kay?), annoyed, annoyed, annoyed. I used to love weddings but now they just feel like a chore.

Gwen, I will pray for a snowstorm for you! I feel you, the last wedding we went to was on a Sunday afternoon at 3. We got there and there was no valet and I had to tromp through a gravel lot in three inch heels. The restaurant is always valet, so I figured it would be for the wedding too, nope. It was a cash bar after cocktail hour and there was no cake. They were bragging about how cheap it was, yep there is a reason. The one positive, the food was divine.

I would have walked out.  Cash bar is bad enough, but no cake?!?!  That's crossing the line.

I am working from home today.... kids are at daycare.... Hubby is in New Orleans at a conference.... it is near blissful. I stopped to check my blood pressure at GE and it was the lowest it has been in ages. Dare we wonder why? lol.

I am so sorry Kris. Hopefully it is not as bad as you think. Fingers crossed.

A vent.

We had fun during our fall camping trip this past weekend, but it was so cold overnight that I really didn't sleep well. The overnight low was around 40. And it took me a while each morning to warm up even after I was dressed and drinking coffee.

So I'd like to give mother nature a big WTF about today's low of 60 and temperatures so warm that I didn't even need a coat this morning! The hell?!?!

I am crabby and uncomfortable pregnant lady too. Really uncomfortable today.  Nausea, shortness of breath, achey. Woo! Only 12 weeks to go or something.

14 weeks to go here.  I am also uncomfortable and sore.  And I only have one.  Hugs to you.  Get a treat.  You deserve it.

The # on the scale keeps going up up up.  I know that's normal.  I know that's healthy.  But for some reason this time it's really bugging me......
