Erotic Literature

Recommend your favorites, please!  I just completed the Fifty Shades trilogy.  I liked it, but not the best writing.  Didn't love the abuse factor.  However, it did help my sex life.   I think reading the books kept sex at the forefront of my mind, and it definitely increased the amount I was having in my relationship.  I'd love to read some that are written well and have great sex scenes.

Re: Erotic Literature

  • Do you have a nook or ipad or kindle? Somewhere you could use it for free? I a lot of time get books for free on nook, they may not be written absolutely the best, but they are quick reads and free. I also really like Melody Anne's books.
  • Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. The real focus is the story, but the sex scenes are quite well-written. I had to give up on them eventually though because the villain is in fact too well-written and gets quite disturbing.
  • Also, Nora Roberts more generally. I tend toward her fantasy romance, particularly the Three Sisters Island books and the Key Trilogy. The Bride Quartet is also excellent.
  • If you have Oyster, there a bunch of ones on there. It is $9.99 a month and they have a huge selection of books, I love it.
Anyway, The Fetish Box, is supposed to be a really good series, but I haven't read them. I just recently read Losing it, and Faking It by Cora Carmack. Both of them were really good! They aren't Fifty Shades detailed, but there is so much romance and passion, it helped my drive quite a bit. Personally I prefer the lighter stuff in general anyway.
