Beyond frustrated!

We met with the designer for our floor plan in mid July and it's still not freaking done!  Ugh, I'm so pissed off!  The problem is that we can't fire him because he's the only designer our builder works with, so unless we go hire a third party drafter, we are stuck with him.  I'm really hoping we are almost done, but I said that 2.5 weeks ago when I sent him two small changes that I've actually been asking him to do from almost the very beginning.  I just can't believe that we are nearing November and we still don't have a finalized floor plan when we started so long ago.

That sounds really frustrating!  I  wish I could offer you advice but we've never had to deal with a new home situation.  But I do know working with  contractors is frustrating.

I hope you hear back soon. That is so frustrating. I know you just want to get moving so things will be ready for the baby.

So frustrating.  Contractors are a pain to deal with.  I hope they get their act together soon.

Well, I would normally be up his ass by now, but I don't want to piss him off because he is charging us by the hour.  I don't want him coming back and saying it took 10x the amount of time and hold the plans until we pay him.  I did nicely say that we'd really like to wrap this up in the next couple of days, so hopefully he'll get back to us sooner.
