What are you thankful for this week?

I'm thankful that we're leaving for CA next Wed for my BFF's wedding! I could really use a break from job searching and I'm so excited for this wedding : )

I'm thankful tomorrow is payday. Mostly because I can finally get all the final parts I need for my Halloween costume for Saturday for my friend's party.
On a side note, I'm grateful that H offered to look for costume things for me today while he was out shopping. Although he seemed a bit sad when I explained that I'd rather do it so I can try stuff on.

Have I mentioned I enjoy Halloween?

I'm thankful for a 10 am doctors appointment tomorrow.  I usually have to get up by 5:45, so I'll get to sleep in til 8!  I'm even more thankful because I have to get up early Saturday for pre-wedding events and Sunday for the wedding.  I volunteered to be one of the first to get ready for an 11 am wedding, so have to be up by 5:45! (

I'm thankful for only 2 more days of work until vacation!  I have to finish out today and Monday, and then we're on "staycation" Tues-Fri next week.  (Tomorrow I have a continuing legal education course I have to attend to keep my bar license active--lame.)

Looking forward to doing lots of fall & Halloween activities with DH!

I'm thankful that my ticker says I have 40 days left!  Getting so excited!!
Also last night MIL took me out to dinner.  She wanted to discuss DH's golden birthday next month.  She's going to give both of us round trip arifare, to use whenever.  She said if it's a no baby trip she'll watch Chalupa Batman for us.  I don't see myself being ready for that until he's at least 1 maybe 2.  Maybe it will be a trip to make baby #2.

Also thankful that the holiday season is approaching!  I know Halloween is my favorite and all but I can't stop thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas already for some reason.  I just have a good feeling about the holidays this year.

I am thankful that MIL is paying for a cleaning service for us before we move into the house. I don't mind cleaning windows, but these windows are extra dirty and I don't want to have to wash them myself.

@sjs1013 well on Monday (our anniversary) we're meeting downtown at a fancy hotel, where we stayed the night we got engaged and on our wedding night (this fancy blue building below)

We were going to do a big fancy dinner, but since we both work full days Monday I was thinking we could bring champagne and order pizza to our room.  That's what we did on our wedding night (I was starving!)  but I fell asleep on poor DH.  Going to try to make it up to him  

We are also definitely going to visit Nashville, IN which is the most adorable little town with lots of shops and restaurants.  The leaves are gorgeous in the fall and it's a beautiful one hour drive.  Here's what it looks like 

And we are also meeting with a realtor to get the home buying process rolling 

On top of that, I want to go on lots of walks in the park where we got engaged (it's right by our apartment), go to a haunted house/hayride, watch my favorite Halloween movies, and go to a costume party DH's friend is planning.  

Can you guys tell I'm just a little bit excited?

Another, I'm thankful for yoga pants.  I'm wearing them at work today like they are normal pants.

I'm thankful to be home from Seattle. It was a great trip, but I'm ready for real life to start again.

I am thankful that Dunkin Donuts has gotten in their Peppermint Mocha syrup for coffee. It's like Christmas in a cup.

I am not thankful for Dunkin Donuts opening a half a block away from the office. It's very dangerous.

I'm thankful for having had a good observation yesterday and being told that she could tell I'm prepared. I'm thankful that I'm taking the day off tomorrow since we're going to a concert tonight! I'm super excited to sleep in.
