I wanted to share this incredible photo with you because it makes me extremely proud and I also find it fascinating.  This is a picture of the Highway of Heroes in Ontario and the procession carrying the soldier, Corporal Nathan Cirillo, who was murdered in Ottawa on Wednesday. The Highway is between Trenton and Toronto, which is about a 2.5 hr drive.  Trenton houses a very large Canadian Forces base and normally fallen soldiers would arrive there from out of country and be driven to the coroner in Toronto. Because Corporal Cirillo was killed in Ottawa, he is being driven on this route as well. Thousands of people line the route with flags.  DH and I have been fortunate enough to be on the Highway twice driving back from Toronto and have pulled over for the procession of a fallen soldier.  It's heartbreaking and amazing at the same time.
