Halloween!
Helloooooooo! Anyone still out there?
What's new? Any fun Halloween plans? Do you hand out candy?
For Halloween I run a big candygram fundraiser at school. We sold over 400 this time (last year was 300) so the past week has been spent borrrowing kids to trace and cut bats and pumpkins and leaves for me. They are done! We've already started eating our Halloween candy for the trick-or-treaters... whoops. Last year we had leftover candy because we only had about 10-12 kids total. We were really surprised because we are in a decent neighborhood.

Anyway, I haven't bought any candy yet because I would have already eaten it all already.
What else is going on? Remember how I said that everyone at my office had to reapply for their jobs? Well it's all over and I got a position. Not one I applied for, but whatever. But then I got an offer from somewhere else and I'll be leaving my place of work (where I've been for 15 years) to go away. I'm scared and nervous, but also excited. Baby comes in 11 weeks so the timing is weird, also, but they seem to be more than cool with it.
I think we are due for a @ky29 update. right?

As for halloween, we didn't do anything. Our friends were having a party - but they are all huge house smokers and I wasn't up for hanging out with all that. It actually snowed here on halloween, the weather was so crappy! So we didn't have as many trick or treaters as we normally would - but still had about 40.
Hope all you ladies are doing well! Can you believe it's November already!? Where did this year go...

We had our house decorated as usual for Halloween and bought Costco bags of candy since we usually get a lot of kids. However, it rained here, which is generally rare, so it affected the turnout. Thus, we now have a ton of candy left. Great - just what I need to lose that post baby weight :-/ LOL
It was Nola's first Halloween, so we bought her a little onesie and took a pic of her with some of our Halloween props since that's our fav holiday.
