What are you thankful for?

I'm thankful that my friend had an absolutely beautiful wedding. She deserved it after what she had been through with a major health scare.

I'm also thankful for some new job prospects. I heard back from 2 places that I had sent my resume to (see my I'm Back UPDATED post for the latest on that). Hopefully, things are looking up on the career front.

Finally, I'm thankful that our rent is not going up as much as we thought it would. Our lease is up at the end of Jan and in our original agreement the rent was supposed to go up to more then we were comfortable paying. However, we got a letter saying that the property manager was willing to give us a deal if we signed for another year. We liked that number much better : ) Hooray for not having to move in the middle of winter again! Plus, I really like our townhouse and don't want to leave.

This was a good week : )

I'm thankful that my little cousin will be coming home for Thanksgiving from the Air Force Academy! It's his first year as a cadet and we haven't seen him since he left in June. I know he's homesick so I'm happy he gets to come back for a bit.

Thankful for being home after a week with my mamaw. I missed H so much. He missed me too. He was so bored he cleaned the garage!

Also thankful E travels so well. She slept most of the 10 hour drive!

Thankful it was so dark and rainy when E got up at 6 she went back to sleep! We slept in until 9!!

I'm thankful that I've been getting some emails about sponsored posts for my blog! While they aren't paid posts I feel like it is a stepping stone towards earning some money from blogging. I've determined that I do not enjoy working for someone else in a traditional job and think I'd really enjoy blogging and earning an income.

I'm thankful that my BP is back to normal as of my appointment Tuesday. They think I must have just had something viral and it brought up my BP.

Believe it or not, I'm thankful that I may have to work Thanksgiving. It's not really a favorite holiday of mine. H and I don't have any major plans to my knowledge. (Maybe visiting his family if anything) Plus, I get to go in for 10 minutes and get paid for an hour of work.

I am thankful that H's boss told him to take off until yesterday to unpack and settle. It's not complete, but we got a lot done.

I am also thankful that H went back to work today. I wasn't a fan of sharing cuddle time with O, especially since I go back to work in 10 days.

I'm thankful for my job and H. Since he has come on board, our company has really taken off and made so many things possible, both professionally and personally. There was a time where I thought I'd never be where I am now and I can't wait to see what the future brings for us.

Also, thankful for my parents and them letting us stay with them. As much of a pain the butt it is sometimes, it has allowed us to comfortable move forward with our plans.

@catwine I was going to mention to you, when I was doing a lot of blogging a few years ago and trying to make money at it, I learned that sponsor's really prefer non-blogspot hosted domains. That might help you get some ads/sponsors and start making money. It's really easy to transfer a blogger site into a wordpress theme on a .com website--there are tons of tutorials out there

I think hosting is like $60 per year and the domain name is like $15. Not many other businesses out there you can start for less than $100

I'm thankful for the beautiful baby I already have and for my mom who dropped everything and held my hand while I cried in the doctors office like a fool.
