Preschool Recommendations for Cranberry?

My daughter is 3 1/2 and I would love to try and get her into a Preschool after the new year...any places you love? I SAH, so not looking for a center, but rather a church program she can attend in the mornings.

TIA!

Not Cranberry, but Wexford. I have a couple friends in my MOPs group that attend this school. Both are very happy with it. http://www.wexfordchildrenscenter.com/preschool.php

How did the move go? Are you as settled as you can be? Hope so and WELCOME to Pittsburgh!
  • The PreSchool program at our church is a school year thing, so I don't think they take kids mid-year, but they will be starting to register for next year's programs on Jan. 9th.  The programs usually filly up really quickly, esp. for 4 year olds.  I send my LO here, but a lot of other nesties have, too.  It seems like it gets rave reviews.  (I fully admit I am biased because I am one of the pastors here....I really love it and so does DS.)   If you want the info, feel free to private inbox me and I'll send you the details.  They have both morning and afternoon programs, and the 4 year olds meet W, Th, F.

  • No help here as ours is a center that does a morning preschool/pre-k program and it has a heft waitlist but just wondering what you guys decided to do?  It seems like you should be moving here soon?!?!?

  • Thanks guys! I'll check out the Wexford one for sure, we ended up renting a house in Wexford. It's small (3 bedroom) but it was in our price range and will motivate us to save so we can buy once we know the area.

We move Dec 20th!! So soon!

I also am looking at The Garden Montessori, anyone hear anything about them? They do have an opening but I want to tour it first.

What MOPs group do you go to? I know I'll want to join a moms group to make some friends!

Denalea I'm sending you a message, thanks!!

  • We are nearby in Franklin Park and some of my neighbors use the Ingomar church preschool. DD goes to Tendercare, which is full day
  • I am the co-coordinator of the PM MOPs group at Memorial Park Church in Allison Park. We meet twice a month on Monday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30. Our meetings include dinner. However, we don't offer childcare. The morning group does, but it is full.
