I finally got smart

Pulled out the kid's snow boots this year, and they both need a new pair. Nolan can wear Brinley's from last year, but they're lavender.  I think I can get away with it this year without protest, but for the future, I ordered Brinley's boots in a gender neutral color.

I laugh at myself for not realizing this sooner.

Re: I finally got smart

  • Whenever possible, I buy H gender neutral pajamas, jeans, outerwear and boots. It worked more often when they were younger and she was less opinionated, but there are a number of items that have been used by both kids. It helps that her favorite color is red. ;-)

  • Yes, opinionated kids don't make it easy.  Brinley for instance will only wear nightgowns, not PJ's--but I will have to keep that in mind if her preferences change!

And what a stroke of luck on the red!  Brinley's favorite color changes like the weather, it's currently the pinker the better.
