Are these jeans too "mom jean"?

Because they look like they'd cover my butt and word on the street says that they control the muffin top.
Jeans seem to be my arch nemesis lately.

  • I don't think they look like mom jeans. No pleats and not over your belly button.  These are mom jeans:

They don't have a button/zipper...does that change your opinion?
ETA: your pic has me LOLing

  • They walk a fine line because they are pull-on. If they were a jegging, I may be able to look past that but with a boot-cut, they are reminding me of pajama jeans.

Ehhh, I'm not sure if spend $50 on them. I definitely am not a huge fan of their look but I don't think they are horrible.

Jeans used to be my nemesis too until I went to the dark side of designer jeans. They are expensive but 100% worth it. I would spend less on jeans that I ended up not liking and didn't fit me that well which led to buying more. So in the end Id spend just as much on crappy jeans becUse id keep buying hoping for better ones! Anyways I recent got 2 pairs of designer jeans half off at Marshall's. Just a little more than these ones. And I love them more than words!!

  • But, no one will know but you that they're pull on.  If they look nice from the top of your shirt down, it will just be your secret!  ;)
  • So do they have a demi-panel on the top like maternity pants, minus the obvious room for the baby?
  • I like the concept, but I'm not sure.  Might be a risky zulilly buy.  If they look more "mom" in person, you can't return.

  • I would be hesitant to buy with out the ability to return!  They may be great, or not.  I suppose you could always wear them with a long tunic, but the are kind of pricey to take that risk, IMO.
