FBC Family book "Mistletoe Murder"
I have been interested recently in reading some cozy mysteries and gave this series a try. In this book, the main character is a working mom with a husband and three children getting ready for the holidays. I could not connect with the character herself as I found her inconsistent, however the way the family gets together for the holidays with both sets of grandparents made me hope for that with my own family. It makes me think about the impending holidays and how we might be able to combine our own families for the holidays. I grew up missing out on seeing my extended family alot as we were three hours away from them. With my sisters' children and my own child, I have made it a goal to have them see each other frequently and grow up together. There was no mention of cousins in this story but the children in the family unit appeared to be close.
