restaurant recs for girls night out? (wexford-ish area)

Any recommendations for a girls night out dinner/drinks in the Wexford area?  (could be a bit further north or south, but wexford would be a good halfway point for everyone coming)  Looking for somewhere not super pricey and not super loud, but otherwise open to suggestions! :) We've done Walnut Grill and BRGR in the past, so hoping to try somewhere new to us.

  • Tamari, Atria's, Bella Frutetto, The Oven Pizza Co.
  • Red Lobster, Olive Garden (LOL, j/k...remember the chain restaurant debates back in the old days?!?)

    LOL!!  ahhh....the days of yore!

When trying to think of ideas in that area, I realized I have never been anywhere other than the places I named and Red Robin and Max & Erma's in Cranberry.  I was not very helpful in trying to think of suggestions!!!

  • Tamari Warrandale is fun - depending on how many go for Happy Hour if you can & sit at bar table - prices are so much cheaper
Aviva Brick Oven right off Warrandale exit - they used to be BYOB not sure if still are but good food.

  • Atria's in Pine has two private rooms. One of which is on the smaller side.
  • Nakama (just opened), Tamari, Off the Hook, Emilianos (Cranberry)

  • Another vote for Tamari.

  • I was also going to suggest Aviva. I like that they're byob. If you do tamari, just make sure to make reservations.

  • Looks like we're going with Aviva, but just a heads up to anyone looking to go there, doesn't seem like they're BYOB anymore...their site says they now have a full bar.

  • They are on the no-wait app if you have it on your phone. The wait is ridiculous on Friday and Saturdays.

  • hmm....Kris, I don't have that app.  I was actually going to call to see if they take reservations, should I not bother and just download the app?

  • The no wait app is awesome!
  • AvIva is not BYOB but food is yummy. Tamari has an awesome mixed drink that the bartender showed me how to make because I like it so much. It has Pimms, Cantone and cucumber.
  • There is a note on the Aviva menu about BYOB being $4/pp for bottled wine only.

I don't know if they take reservations but the no wait app is the bomb. It  puts you on the wait list and also tells you how long the wait is at the current time. The restaurants selection is spotty like some Mad Mex restaurants but not all of them (no McKnight or Robinson but Cranberry and South Hills). But Aviva is definitely on there.

  • I was going to say call them b/c I think you can still BYOB and pay a fee.
