My husband and I are in the process of buying a new home. When we got together my husband had tons of John Deere kitchen items and I had rooster items ( we were very young when we got together, but our parents were buying items for us while we were growing up). Right now my kitchen is a John Deere vs. Rooster throw down. I feel horrible not using the John Deere items because my husband's aunts purchased tons of John Deere items for my wedding shower (I didn't ask for it, but it's the thought that counts)...and my mother-in-law is always buying me rooster items, which I do enjoy. My husband is a John Deere fan through and through, I want my new kitchen to be elegant, but I have a feeling it will be the same thing I have now. We are moving to an acreage, and I am looking for an elegant country look, but I seriously do not think it will fly.
