I noticed him in a promo recently. I instantly recognized the shot of the city from PNC park, but had to rewind to figure out who the "executive" was.

I would be surprised people don't recognize him...I would think he is a pretty public face in the county for long enough that people who work for him would know what he looks like.  I mean, I have been in the elevator with my companies CEO before and I knew who he was... and he wasn't even a public figure voted into office with ads all over the tv for 6 months before the election!

Have you seen the photo of his disguise? He looks like a guy from Duck Dynasty. There is a photo in the article in the post-gazette.

OH, I didn't know there was a disguise. I don't watch the show, and I didn't see the promo either.

LOL, Clare, this was way back in the day of Marty McGuinn!  Though Bob Kelly was in town briefly before he brokered the merger and moved off to NYC. I think he just lived in the Omni.

Also, did anyone watch? I felt vindicated that someone recgonized him. And laughed at his complete lack of handiness with the tools (like the tape measure?!?!  5/8ths. Oi!)

Just watched it.  It was good like a typical episode.  Nice to hear some of the ideas for improvements and efficiencies in city work.  The disguise was pretty weak.
