Short non-disgusting version of the story: DH had surgery. I was all Gung ho about helping him during his recovery time and making sure he was okay. I took one look at the surgery site and proceeded to dry heave over a garbage can.

I was a lifeguard for 6 years at a public pool in rural Indiana.  My job included cleaning bathrooms.  Grown adults would often leave "presents" on the bathroom floor.

I have a pretty weak stomach, so I get grossed out easily.  THe most recent gross thing I've witnessed was when a father and daughter came into work and asked to use the washroom.  I called one of the carry out guys to show them where it was, but before he could get to them the girl projectile vomited all over the floor. Right in front of all the checkout lanes.  Then she walked a few feet and did it again.  Vomit grosses me out so much that I almost threw up.

I was at my aunts house and she had a bowl of almond Hershey kisses. I opened one and nibbled the point off the top as usual. While I was savoring that little piece of chocolate, a worm crawled out of the bottom half of the kiss. :-&

I have never eaten an almond kiss since.

Grew up on a farm, and have seen a lot of gross things.  I'll spare you guys details.

@minionlover reminded me mine.  When I was a kid, I poured a bowl of cereal (Golden Puffs) and as I was about to take a bite, I looked down and saw tons of worms squirming around in the cereal.  The whole box was infested with them.  I guess we bought it that way because nothing else had any worms and found no signs of them in the pantry.  It was disgusting.  I haven't been able to eat that cereal since.

I'm going to go with when my water broke. It wasn't too bad at home, but got worse in the car on the way to the hospital. I was squishing as I walked into the hospital. Every time I had a contraction, more fluid gushed out. My mom said she had to wash those clothes 3 times to get them clean.

And this is why I'm very thankful mine didn't break until they broke it for me. Still a really gross feeling, but I didn't have to deal with cleaning anything up myself!
