  • TTCers:  TTWers (but really, when I'm having sexy times during a clearly fertile period that's not really "whatever")

    Cycle/Month: 1 of "TTW"

    CD/DPO: something DPO, 2WW-stopped charting

    W2O or 2WW? 2WW, something DPO

Testing plans: BFN last night.  I'll test again in a week.

Chart stalks/rants/Thoughts: Not charting is great but also weird since I have longer cycles.  Never a clue what's going on in there.  Also starting prenatals in the new year.  Gummy pnvs FTW!!!  Thanks for the tips you ladies gave me on brands earlier.

  • TTCers:

    Cycle/Month: 9/10

    CD/DPO: CD 2 :(

    W2O or 2WW? W2O

    Testing plans: n/a

Chart stalks/rants/Thoughts: we decided I'll start temping in January

  • >TTCers:

    Cycle/Month: 14/19, 3AL

    CD/DPO: 18/3

    W2O or 2WW? 2WW

    Testing plans: none

Chart stalks/rants/Thoughts: started progesterone last night, which is interesting.... My U/S at ovulation confirmed it's thinner than they'd like, so I guess we've identified one problem and will hopefully fix that next time around.

@catwine I'm glad you are going to try charting. I would add OPKs too just to give yourself a little more info. Hopefully then you will have a full picture about your cycle and confirm you are actually hitting your FW. I don't temp anymore because I know what my cycles are like and only use OPKs. Sorry about cd2.

  • Good luck with temping @catwine!  FX for you!

    Pregnant Girls:

    How many weeks: 19w1d

How are you feeling?  Pretty good but tired because I haven't been sleeping all that well.  We have two weeks without the girls, so I'm hoping that will help me catch up on some R&R.

Rants/Thoughts/Bump pics? Felt the baby move for the first time last week!!  It was such a cool feeling.  She's been thumping around a little bit each day, but it's still very light.  I'm planning on taking my bump pic tonight so I'll update later with that.

  • @catwine sorry about cd2 :(  I hope temping gives you a better idea of what days to hit and I second @LDubHawksFan that opks are a great additional way of picking up your surge.  I buy the dollar store ones and they work great for me.  Like I said before, you could just be missing your fertile window by literally a day or two, so temping will be a big help.

@LDubHawksFan I hope the progesterone does the trick for you!

  • FX @islandmonkey8‌!!!!

@ramstein1027‌ I use Wondfo OPKs because you can get them for $20 for 50 on amazon. I only indulge my POAS with opks! ;) plus I have a shorter surge so I pee on two/day around ovulation.

Thanks. I honestly don't think the progesterone is my problem since I have long LP and my results were normal, but I think it's standard protocol for this RE and he wants to make sure my lining doesn't get thinner during the LP, I guess. It's strange though.....@islandmonkey8 have you used them before. Mine came with no instructions so I was standing in my bathroom confused for awhile last night on the best way to, ummmm, insert it. Ooy

  • @LDubHawksFan - Yes, I've used progesterone suppositories before. Insert like a tampon and squeeze. But it does depend on the kind you are on. What kind did you get?

They are small individually wrapped bullet looking ones (maybe 1" long including the plastic packaging). I tried squeezing it out and it was really hard. I'll give it a shot again tonight. How can this be so befuddling?!! Haha

Those sound like the ones that I was on.  Honestly, it was easiest just using my finger to push it in.  I didn't like the idea of using the syringe thing because of having to clean it and I'm far to lazy for that extra step! :P

Good luck @islandmonkey8!  Friday will be here before you know it!

  • @islandmonkey8 Good luck!  I don't know if I could resist POAS.  If you wait until your Beta draw, how long until you get results?

@Ldubhawksfan Good luck to you!  I hope that your problem is more simple than you're anticipating.

@ramstein1027 Maybe you said it and I missed it, but what's TTW?  I kept thinking it was TWW, but I realized today that it's not.

    Mommies:

How old are your LOs (Little Ones)? 4 months

How do you feel? I feel good.  Sad that my baby is growing so fast though.

Any Milestones this week?  She rolls almost as soon as you put her down for tummy time now.  She sucks her thumb pretty regularly now.  She's touching everything she can, she seems fascinated by different textures.  I thought she had a tooth coming in, but the doctor said not yet.  She's definitely teething though, she suck on her hands all day.  She'll only lick the teethers that we have.  She's grabbing things and trying to pick them up.  I feel like there's more this week, but I just can't remember.

Rants/Thoughts/Baby pics? I had planned to write milestones down, but I never did.  I feel like I can't remember anything and I won't remember when she did things when she gets older.

As an update to my babysitting problem, I found someone amazing.  She comes to my house and I am very happy about that.  In December she has a few conflict days, so we need to find coverage for that, but I am very confident with her.  Yesterday was her first day and it went well.  O needs to get used to her, but she had no problem eating or napping.
  • @sjs1013‌ - I would get the results later that afternoon.
