AW: First refinished furniture pieces
In an effort to both save money and give the kids a more unique room, we decided to purchase older style furniture and refinish it. I have several inspiration pics on pinterest that I'm trying to imitate so hopefully it will all come together in the end.
Anyway, my first items were a pair of chairs that I picked up from a flea market for $15 each. They are sturdy, real wood and I love the shape and detail they have. I spent an additional $15 on fabric. One will go in each girls room. Ava, the 8 yr old, will get the black one and Isla, the 5 yr old, will get the green one. The before is the chair in brown. I'm posting from my phone so I'm sorry the pics are sideways.
