WTF Christmas Light Manufacturers...

You make LED lights that are supposed to last for like a million years, that's great. What's not great is that if you buy a certain style of LED lights and then that style is discontinued a year later. H and I have these little round soft white LED lights on our tree. This year, our tree is slightly bigger than last year's. Because the tree is bigger, we wanted to buy 1 more strand of lights to match what we currently have. That style is no longer to be found...anywhere! So, it was either buy all new lights for the tree, which would be $$$, or just go with what we have. Let's just say that we took the cost effective option...the tree could use another strand of lights, but it's not worth that much $$$.

WTF to my new insurance for taking forever to process. It's taken 2 weeks for them to finish filing the paperwork for our company. In the mean time, I've started with our RE.

Which leads to my next WTF RE office staff. When I called to get referred, I asked if they accepted both my old, and new PPO insurance. Answer, yes. Since I finally got the group # yesterday, I sent it to the RE financial dept and sure enough they accept it, but it's out of network. Fuck. I'm now waiting to find out how much more that means for us, and whether it means we look for yet another dr and this month was down the tubes.

Moral of the story: I really hate and don't understand insurance and it's nuances. ::head desk::

WTF Capital one 360.  I called to change my name (yes its been 2 years).  Then, I opened a checking account.  I even asked, if the name change will be on the new card and checks.  Guess what has my maiden name on it?!

Not really a major moment, but one that actually made me say WTF.

WTF work and caterers. 

In lieu of having a Christmas party, the company I work for has a big catered lunch for the employees. (A perfect example of how one person can ruin things for everybody)

This year seemed okay from the start. The food was okay and they did provide a selection of foods to eat. Unfortunately, the highers ups that I work with failed at actually notifying us of a schedule in which to go eat. We received an email saying that stuff would be available at 11 AM and 6 PM, with no indicator as to how long it'd be there. 

Around 1 or so (after I came back from lunch), the caterer apparently started scooping up food trays and left. There were a few people who couldn't go to their lunch break until late in the afternoon. They actually walked upstairs thinking they were going to go get food and it was already gone or being packed away. We had only found this out because our night shift people were on lunch at that time and had just missed the cutoff point.

It just baffled me that nobody can communicate or at least say, "Hey, this will be up here until 1 or 2, so if you want it, come get it before we leave."

WTF students? Do we speak the same language? Are your listening skills that awful. For Christmas, ask your parents for a hearing check.

I know that sounds harsh, but I really question whether I speak the same language as them.

A day late, but still WTF?! WTF D's company? Why are you not giving out holiday bonuses this year???? This is how we felt when we heard the news.

We knew there would be cut backs since they already fired 2 people and the merger has others on edge but REALLY?!? A mall gift card?  That's what they get and it sucks.
