Have any of you been to Juniper Grill?

Hello ladies. I was just wondering if this place is any good. It sounds neat inside with that lodge feeling...well that's what the website said ;)

MH and I are looking for a cool/different place to eat. We live in Plum but figured the drive isn't that bad. Oh and if any of you want to recommend a place that would be great!! Thanks..

Re: Have any of you been to Juniper Grill?

  • We have been there many times, we live nearby in USC. The food is really good and it's cozy inside. Not sure I 'd drive that far for it though. That said we love it.
  • Lol @annetd‌. We would go to the Cranberry one. MH said the same thing on the drive. It's probably only about 40 min.

  • We went there & it was ok.  Inside was nice, we sat in the back.  But its at the end of a strip mall type place so that cuts into the ambiance a little.  Not sure it was worth 40 min drive but food was good.  Our only problem was that one of the dressings was nut based & they didn't tell us and my daughter had a reaction so our meal was cut short.

  • We love Juniper Grill in Cranberry.  It's interesting in that you look at the menu and see several themes of cooking.  There are a lot of entrees/apps with beef brisket and chicken.

My favorites are fish tacos...hands down love them!  Their skillet cornbread is great!

If you're heading to Cranberry, we love Springfield Grille on 228 (we are biased and their happy hour is awesome for bar style food and we always do their late night for cocktails).  We loveIndian/Nepali food at Himalayas off 19.  There's Emiliano's for Mexican, BRGR for burgers or well worth the drive is Burgh'ers in Harmony (the best homemade style burgers in the city and better than Burgatory or BRGR).  Our go to for Sushi/japanese is Yama Sushi....the best!  If you're more Asian Fusion/Chinese, check out Jimmy Wan's.

For a very farm to table experience, check out Pines Tavern.

Andora is good but just not something we would do often.

  • Get the cornbread. That is all
  • Lol - had no idea there was more than one! I was gonna say...u are nuts to drive to Peters!
  • Its good, though I don't know if it warrants a 40 minute drive.

  • That is our new favorite.  We have been to both the Peter's location (larger with a great deck) and the Cranberry location.

Fish tacos are Ted's favorite along with the brisket.  The cornbread dessert is amazing.  Their summer salad is hands down my favorite.
