  • I'm reading The Martian. I'm listening to How Perfect is That by Sara Bird.

These are 58 and 59 for the year. I don't think I will make it to 60 before the end of the year.

Bonus - My mom subscribed me to Better Homes and Gardens and I skim through it for recipes and then toss it in the recycling.

  • I just started Revenant, which I think might be the last book in the Demonica series. It is somewhere around 150 for the year. I subscribe to a gaming magazine. My H has a lot of them, mostly science related. They pile up quickly.

    Yay!

I am reading Imitation in Death by JD Robb
I am in a book rut big time but usually get like this at this time of year.  I'd rather watch Christmas movies than read.

  • I'm reading The Magician's Land. My book totals are way down this year due to that class I was teaching, but I don't set reading goals so it's no biggie. I read what I want at my own pace and that suits me fine. I have a huge stack of books that I borrowed for my convalescence.

As for magazines I subscribe to InStyle and I get Preservation as part of my National Trust for Historic Preservation membership.

  • I'm reading "The Secret Place" by Tana French but have been so tired lately that I fall asleep after a few pages.  I'm also reading 'A Grave Inheritance' by Kari Edgren.  They will be #80 and #81 for the year.

I'm only about a chapter into it, being so close to the holidays I find that I can't sit down and read for more than a few minutes, but I'm hoping to get into it more this weekend.
    I like it so far.

  • I'm still reading HP #7. I really need to get all the shopping done so I can binge read. I went to a used bookstore yesterday and picked up a bunch of stuff for me and some gifts (but mostly me lol). Too much to read, too little time.
