I still have some baking to do for my family.  The rest of the day will be spent relaxing, setting up my new blog and reading.  D and I are both off today!  I go back to work on Saturday and he is off until January 5.

I'm at work until about noon.  My family celebrates Christmas on Christmas Eve, so we'll be going to my aunts house this evening.  I'm really hoping I can take a nap this afternoon because I know we'll be up til 2am at the earliest.  It doesn't feel like Christmas and I'm having a hard time staying in a good mood today.  I miss the girls and I'm just all around bummed.

Sorry to be a Debbie Downer, this just wasn't how I pictured Christmas going down.

DH and I are working today.  We are schedule until 5 but we are hoping to leave early.  My supervisor said its fine but his isn't sure.  Tonight we are going to DH's aunts then to my parents.  After that its to Marist College to take our annual Christmas tree pictures.  They have an amazing tree all lit up there.  We have gone there every year since we have been together.  I think that I am going to start a scrapbook of every year.

H is working until 4, and then we're having a quiet Christmas Eve/Christmas Day with just the 2 of us.

My family does the big Italian Christmas Eve thing every year, so we'll probably FaceTime with the rest of my family since they'll all be together at my uncle's house.

Home today! We got up early and have been reading/drinking coffee/listening to Christmas music. We have a tiny bit of shopping to do, Mass, and dropping by my parents to pick up our Christmas Eve present.

We've been at my grandparents house in Alberta since last Monday. Quiet day around here, church tonight, and that's it. Tomorrow all 22 of us will be here for dinner!

Both of us are off today. Bumming around doing last minute stuff. Tonight we go to my inlaws for a big Christmas Eve dinner where santa comes and gives out tons of presents. My parents even come up now for the night (they live 2 hours away). Tomorrow we will head down to my family for an overnight there.

H was done around 11. I'm stuck here until i get everything ran test wise. (The downfall of being off till Monday--trying to make sure everything is done)
Only need to go shopping tonight for a gift bag and eggs thankfully.

I worked 9 hours Tuesday, came home, packed and we left for NC at 8 pm. Jeff was scaring me riding on the rumble strips every 30 mins. So needless to say, no sleep. We got here at 6 am.

In my sleep stupor, I whipped a boob out to feed Eliza when we got here. SFIL couldn't leave the room fast enough. This makes me sad because now I'm stuck feeding her in a bedroom. I'd rather be in a chair.

Anyway, kids are here and loving time with their sister! Tonight we are giving the kids pj's, blankets and a movie. Opening presents in the morning, massive family breakfast, then relaxing. Saturday we go to see my mamaw for the day. Kids go back to their mama Sunday and we will probably leave Sunday night at E's bedtime.

H is working today, so Wren & I are hanging out at home. I'm hoping that he can get off work a little early so we can run to the mall so Wren can meet Santa. We haven't taken her yet because she was sick & I'm hoping we don't miss out on it completely this year.

Tonight, we're going over to my mom's for dinner & a gift exchange with her & my aunt. Also, we're going to Skype with an aunt & uncle after dinner. We might do our little family gift exchange tonight because tomorrow morning will be super busy.

Tomorrow's going to be crazy busy. Gift opening & breakfast at MIL's. Lunch at my grandma's. Dinner at MIL's. Ugh. I hope Wren has a good day tomorrow!

I'm exhausted just thinking about it all! But I love this time of year! I just wish we had a little bit of snow to make it feel more like Christmas.

Today is my first day of vacation, I return to work on 1/5.

This morning I was running around the house like a lunatic wrapping and trying to finish get ready. O and I snuggled a little, but not as much as I would have liked.

We're on our way to H's parents' house now. We were supposed to leave 2 hours ago, but I didn't get everything finished that I needed to in time.

As I was wrapping, I realized I didn't get my mom a gift from my dad. I feel awful. My dad doesn't shop. He said he would get her a gift card at some point today.

We were supposed to go to Nashville to spend the evening/tomorrow with my family, but H and I were feeling under the weather, as was some of my extended family, so we stayed home.

Now we're going to go to Christmas Eve dinner with H's family and go do stockings. We will come home and rest and enjoy a low-key Christmas tomorrow with just the two of us. We've never done that before and we're honestly really excited.

On the 26th my parents are going to come down to visit since we're not going up there. We're going to smoke a turkey (yum, I can't wait, it's brining now!) and make some other good food. I'm excited they're coming down!

We are both off today due to Eli being born. Tho H had a call from work harassing him about coming back already.
We took Eli to get a photo with Santa.
It doesn't feel like Christmas with everything going on this past week.
We don't really have anything planned for Christmas either. I did pick up a ham at the store so we can make Christmas dinner tomorrow.
