Dr. Oakley Yukon Vet Party

DD told me today that she wants to have a Dr. Oakley Yukon Vet birthday party.  She had all kinds of ideas. A cow milking contest was a game suggestion.  She also wants to invite Dr. Oakley.

How the heck am I going to pull this one off?  Any ideas for activities/games that don't include milking livestock?

Re: Dr. Oakley Yukon Vet Party

  • You actually COULD milk a cow if you were willing to get a little creative.  If you cut out a cow, and got a cheap pair of gloves to fasten to the back (like the playtex ones to do dishes) you could sort of simulate milking by pricking a small hole in each finger and filling it with water.  But it would probably be messy!

I have not heard of this Yukon vet, but I'll look through my youth group game resources and let you know what I find!

  • You could do pin the tail on the cow.

Funny side note, when we lived in Milwaukee the zoo had a huge fake cow that you could milk. It was awesome. So awesome in fact that 25+ years later it is what I remember about the zoo.
