Anyone deliver in Einstein Montgomery or Paoli?

Hi ladies. I'm about 20 weeks along and was looking to switch my doctor to either Einstein Montgomery or Paoli to be closer to home. I hear great things about both, so I'm having a tough decision deciding which one to choose. Has anyone delivered in either? Any doctor recommendations? Thanks!!!

Re: Anyone deliver in Einstein Montgomery or Paoli?

  • I am set to deliver my second child at Einstein Montgomery in May.  It wasn't open when my first was born.
I have had friends who have delivered at Einstein and they have all had wonderful things to  say.

I don't know where you live, but my OB's office is Womens' Health Associates on Germantown Pike.  Dr. Mary Fleming delivered my son, but I also love Dr Daryl Stoner (woman, not a man).

  • I delievered at Paoli in July 2013, when most renovations were done. I can't say enough good things about it. Had such a great experience there! My OB's office is Mainline OBGYN, which one of their locations is in the medical buildings attached to the hospital. Dr. Bussard performed my csection, but I also saw Dr. Kakarla regularly. Loved both!
  • I delivered DS #1 at Einstein in August 2013 and had a great experience! I am set to deliver DS #2 there in April.

I also use Women's Associates and have been very pleased with them. Dr. Stoner performed my c-section and did a wonderful job on my incision. They are also VBAC friendly, if you need to go that route in the future.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

I have also heard great things about Paoli.

  • My wife went with Einstein and loved it. Honestly the room you get is bigger than a lot of hotel rooms. The staff is great and the people are very nice. Also, they are very acommodating to your wishes about visitors.

  • I had a successful VBAC at Einstein Montgomery. I had transferred practices from Deeney/Cleary at Holy Redeemer to a midwife practice and b/c it was a VBAC I couldn't give birth at the birth center. Holy Redeemer has a strict no VBAC policy.

My nurses were great, the food was excellent for hospital food and I was very happy with the care DS and I got.
