WIJFR: Letters From Home (NS)

Letters From Home by Kristina McMorris

@packfan20 I promised I'd post. I just finished this book! I LOVED it! I can't even remember how I found out about this book but I ordered it on Amazon and I'm so happy I did. It was very well-written and everything I was hoping it would be. I definitely laughed and teared up a few times.

I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, but if you're looking for a historical romance set in WWII, pick this one up. It has themes of love and loss, self-discovery, feminism, healing, and holding onto hope. I enjoyed it!

  • Oh and it looks like she has two other books, The Pieces We Keep and Bridge of Scarlet Leaves. I know the second one was an Amazon daily deal a while ago, and I'm about see if I bought it or not. I remember debating it. I didn't even realize it was the same author.

  • I haven't heard of this author or book but I've been into a historical fiction love right now and look forward to checking this book out. Thank you for posting!

  • Yes!  I'm glad you loved it!  It was so, so good.  Her other two books were good but I didn't like either as much as Letters from Home.

My brother's GF and I have completely different tastes in books.  So, sort of as a joke, I bought her Letters from Home for Christmas.  Can't wait to see what she thinks...

Haha you'll have to post when she does! It was so good! I love books with letters in them and I love books set during WWI and WWII.
