Letters From Home by Kristina McMorris

@packfan20 I promised I'd post. I just finished this book! I LOVED it! I can't even remember how I found out about this book but I ordered it on Amazon and I'm so happy I did. It was very well-written and everything I was hoping it would be. I definitely laughed and teared up a few times.

I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, but if you're looking for a historical romance set in WWII, pick this one up. It has themes of love and loss, self-discovery, feminism, healing, and holding onto hope. I enjoyed it!

Oh and it looks like she has two other books, The Pieces We Keep and Bridge of Scarlet Leaves. I know the second one was an Amazon daily deal a while ago, and I'm about see if I bought it or not. I remember debating it. I didn't even realize it was the same author.

I haven't heard of this author or book but I've been into a historical fiction love right now and look forward to checking this book out. Thank you for posting!

Yes!  I'm glad you loved it!  It was so, so good.  Her other two books were good but I didn't like either as much as Letters from Home.

My brother's GF and I have completely different tastes in books.  So, sort of as a joke, I bought her Letters from Home for Christmas.  Can't wait to see what she thinks...

Haha you'll have to post when she does! It was so good! I love books with letters in them and I love books set during WWI and WWII.
