I hate waiting.

Got my lab results back yesterday....my hcg levels aren't quite doubling but the nurse thought it was because of when I got my blood drawn. I mentioned to her that I was concerned that I was still bleeding from Friday. It's still too early to do an ultrasound. They ordered another hcg level test to be done Thursday. I'll know the results Friday and hopefully it'll be high enough for them to order an ultrasound and figure out what's going on. They told me once again that unless I was gushing blood or have extreme cramps or pain, there's really nothing they can do.

In the meantime, I sit and wait. Trying to take it easy but it's extremely hard when you have job where you are on your feet all day. Every single little twinge or slight pain scares me. I know I need to relax but it's just so hard. It really hasn't slowed down or even stopped.

I guess I just wanted to vent. I hate waiting.

Okay first *HUGS*! I know I would be just as stressed and worried. I hope the week passes by quickly but even more so, I hope you stop cramping and bleeding.

Secondly - I read the title "I hate waiting" in the voice of Inigo Montoya from the princess bride. Not sure how much of a nerd that makes me or if I spelled the name correctly.

I'm sorry you are having problems figuring out what is going on and having reassurance. I hope this week goes by fast for you and you can get more answers soon. Thinking of you.

I know its rough.  Try to sit when you can and keep your feet up.  Drink lots of water.  What helped me what the motto: even if something was wrong, nothing can be done, so don't waste energy worrying about something you can't change.  Much easier said than done.

Thanks guys. I am for sure trying to just sit and keep my feet up and drink lots of water. Work is the worst because I am on my feet for eight hours constantly and that's when it's the worst.

I know if something is wrong, there's nothing I can do. It's just really hard to be brave sometimes, especially when we've wanted this for so long.

I'm trying to decide what to do about this weekend. I'm suppose to go to campus for a class session, but I don't know if I feel comfortable going. Its over an hour away from where I live. If I don't go, I fail and I don't want to drop the class because I"ll lose my financial aid. Guess I see what the nurse suggests when I get my lab results on Friday.

Goodish news: hcg levels went from 716 last friday to 1876 today. seeing what the nurse will say tomorrow.

bad news: starting to get cramp and pain. It's not constant and it's not really that bad to me. hoping these are normal "growing pains"

sadly, still not high enough to do an ultrasound. They want it at least at 6,000. Getting more blood drawn Monday. It's just a constant cycle. I am so frustrated. I'm just afraid they won't catch something in time. Nurse told me the same thing....gushing blood, extreme pain in my lower belly or passing clots the size of a quarter...I seriously just give up. Feeling extremely defeated today. I just want whatever happens to happen already. I"m sick of waiting for the worst.

FWIW, my dr didn't do my my first ultrasound until a little after 8 weeks. I think it is pretty standard. Thinking of you.

I am so happy that your numbers doubled. That's awesome. But I know the waiting is so stressful. I didn't have my first ultrasound until between 8-10 weeks. And waiting for it made me very anxious. Just sending you lots of hugs. And keeping you in my T&Ps.

Update: It's not looking good. Pretty sure I've either miscarried, or in the middle of it. Going to the ER.
