Opinions Needed!!

As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, H agreed that sooner rather than later we can go ahead and paint our future nursery. I want a gender neutral nursery that's gray/yellow with a you are my sunshine, stars, and moon theme. This is my inspiration pic for the paint:

I saw it and thought that the yellow was a wide stripe that went up to the ceiling. Then I emailed it to my mom and we were talking about it and I realized that there were more pictures and that the room is actually painted like this:

So what I want to know....which do you guys prefer?? My mom has offered to come and help either way, so the fact that the 2nd one will be more difficult to do isn't really an issue. I can't decide which I like better!

I like the second one better. The yellow stripe will stand out more than if it went up to the ceiling, I think.

I like it going up to the ceiling because I think it would make the room brighter. 

I love that your mom is helping you paint!  My mom pretty much plugs her ears and sings 'la la laaa' if I say anything baby related.

I think it has more of a "sunshine feel" with the yellow going up to the ceiling. I think I like the 1st picture better because of that.

That's a tough one. I really like them both. I think that I like yellow up to the ceiling though.
