Re: What are you reading...

  • I just finished Big Little Lies
I liked it. I thought it was a fun quick read but has its more "deep" moments

I am not sure yet. I have a couple ebooks up from the library. I'm testing out All The Light We Cannot See. It has tons of good reviews and I love reading about that time period.

I really want to read Girl on the Train. I keep hearing good things. Not sure if I want to wait till it's available through library or buy. I also want to read The Martian but I will wait till it's available through library. I have a few other library holds out too. So we will see what comes up

  • The last book I read was Nos4a2 (it's a license plate, not text speak), it's by Joe Hill who is Stephen King's son. I highly recommend it if you like spooky sci-fi.

Actually, I think the last book I read was American Gods by Neil Gaiman, which I LOVED and highly recommend. Another sci-fi-ish read.

I'm currently reading The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt. I'm almost finished with it. I like it. I'm not sure I think it deserved a Pulitzer. Everything is a little too "neat" for my taste, but it's a good read and an interesting story.

I'm not sure what's up next, I have a few things on my digital bookshelf in the library to pick from, I'm leaning towards another Joe Hill book called Horns (soon to be a movies staring Elijah Wood).

  • Just finished: "Where we belong" by Emily Giffin. It was pretty good, I enjoy most of her books.

Now reading: "Wild" by Cheryl Strayed....just started it this morning, so no opinions yet.

Hope to read: I have a giant list going, some of them I'm going to be waiting for forever on the library kindle wait list. The Orphan Train, The Andy Cohen Diaries, Girl on the Train, Big Little Lies, What Alice Forgot
