newbie and day care recs in Moon
Hi everyone:
H and I have lived here for a while but I've never posted on here. H and I have 2 sons 2 1/2 and 7 weeks and we live in Moon. we have had in home child care since DS1 was 3 months. This week the nanny told me she is interviewing for full time jobs with benefits. So the search begins!
We are on the wait list at the Sewickley Valley YMCA which is my first choice but it's a long wait list and the boys will most likely be in college when we finally get in. I toured the kinder care on Brodhead yesterday but it is crazy expensive. does anyone have any experience with Carol Leone?
Putting them in day care is just giving me a lot of anxiety. I know there is nothing wrong with it but it seriously makes me want to cry thinking about it.
I got on care.Com and sent out a few emails. I have yet to hear anything but I was up all night worrying about it. What if we find someone and they end up being a terrible person?!?! My mind was coming up with all the horrible things that could happen.
Ugh...this is so stressful. Any advice? I know there aren't a lot of day cares in moon. I would be willing to go to Sewickley or down to the McMurray/southpointe area as this is where I work but going anything over about $400 per week it would make more sense for my husband to just quit his job.

When I worked in the McMurray area we used Justabout Kids. They were amazing, but that was 2 years ago.
Our favorite teacher from our last daycare went to Kindercare in Moon--but that's all I know about it.
