Ideas for laundry room flooring?
We bought an older character home last summer (built in 1932). Laundry room is unfinished and in the basement, which we discovered gets musty smelling in the summer (well controlled with a humidifier). The floor right now is some sort of awful textured spray-on floor that is IMPOSSIBLE to clean because of the texture...plus it is wearing off in places. Any suggestions for a type of flooring that might work well for this room? I've thought of the interlocking foam mats, but my biggest concern is that whatever we put down might develop mold/moisture underneath it. The floor is somewhat uneven so I don't know that ceramic tiles, etc. are going to be a good option either.
