QOTD 3/11

If you could visit one of the "seven" wonders of the world which would it be?  Would DH pick the same one?

A link for your reference:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wonders_of_the_World

Note:  In finding the link, I had no idea how many lists of "wonders" there were that's why seven is in quotes.  lol

Re: QOTD 3/11

  • There's a ton of different "wonders" lists on there but I would pick Stonehenge  or Old Jerusalem

  • I think my top choice would be the Taj Mahal.  I would love to go to India.

I think DH would pick the pyramid of Giza.  I'm off to ask him.

  • We've been to Chichen Itza. beautiful! Also other Mayan ruins in that area.
I've also been to a few Mayan ruins in Belize and to the Belize Barrier Reef. Stunning.

DH would most want to see the Great Barrier Reef and Deep Sea Vents of that one list. I would do the Great Barrier Reef with him.

We'd both love to see the Colosseum, Stonehenge, Great Wall of China, and Leaning Tower of Pisa.

  • Is it completely bad that I couldn't decide on one to visit? I'd love to see them all one day.

(On an odd note, I've been to more on the "seven wonders" list as per the American Society of Civil Engineers apparently.)

  • I think the only one that I've seen is the Grand Canyon.

I can't even say what I would like to see because I want to see so many!! H is a civil engineer, so I'm sure he'd love to see all of those, we'd also both love to see the underwater wonders. We love reef snorkeling and if given the opportunity, would dive. I'm also going to say Christ the Redeemer because we want to go to Rio really badly, so it'd be easy to check off!

  • From the ancient list, definitely the Pyramids.  I'd also like to go to Machu Pichu, the Coliseum, Stonehenge, the Great Barrier Reef, and the Great Wall of China.
