Weekend Plans Post!

It's been so quiet here this week!  What is everyone up to this weekend?

Re: Weekend Plans Post!

  • Today is Mason's birthday and I am the mystery reader in his class this afternoon.  We sung to him and cupcakes last night, because tonight he is going to a birthday party for a classmate.

Saturday is Mason's birthday party at a bowling alley. Afterwards, the boys are heading to my in-laws for an overnight visit and we are meeting up with some friends to celebrate St. Paddy's Day.  It's been a while since we've been out with friends, so I'm excited!

    Sunday - no plans!

  • One more week until a big deadline at work. I've been killing myself for weeks and I'm ready for the big push to be over.

Working late tonight. Tomorrow I'll be doing more work after my haircut.

Sunday I have to deal with my disaster of a kitchen and do some laundry. And buy groceries. And spend time with the kids before another week of working overtime. And do some more work.

But at least, for the next two days, I don't have to set my alarm for 6am.

  • Tonight picking up fish fry and then I'm meeting up with someone to sell a baby gate and our high chair (LOVE getting back my house from all the baby stuff!)

Tomorrow - the kiddo has pictures in the morning and we're having a dishwasher delivered sometime.

Sunday - REST. I'm fighting a sinus infection/cold and losing, so I need to just take a day and rest.
  • Tonight: dd has a play at her after school program (it's the kindergarteners and 1st graders). After that, home and dinner. Not much else planned

Saturday: mother daughter day! Dd is getting her hair cut at the kid salon place and then getting her ears pierced. We are getting manicures together, then lunch. Afterwards we are going to see Cinderella. Then meeting up with Dh for dinner

    Sunday: grocery shopping and errands

Tonight: dinner. And if I am going to be as wired as promised from the steroids they gave me for my cough hopefully finish the banner for my sister's baby shower.

Saturday: I have to take my car in for service in the morning. While that is there, we will probably go grab breakfast. I need to pick up another gift for my sister. Then we are going to dinner at my parents' for my sister's birthday since she is up from Charlotte.

Sunday: My sister's baby shower. It should be interesting since her MIL is bringing the flowers and desserts but we have no idea what she is doing even though my mom is hosting.

Hopefully at some point I can sleep since I have had this horrible virus for over a week and while most of the symptoms are gone the cough is lingering and of course it is worse at night and it is so bad it actually give me a headache. Of course, I  went to MedExpress and they said "sorry nothing we can do".

  • Tonight - kids are spending the night at my mom & dad's house so they can go to the parade with them in the morning. Gary and I will probably just hang out at home, maybe grab something to eat?

Saturday - no plans, just stuff around the house, grocery shopping

Sunday - going to see a few houses

  • My mom had knee replacement surgery today, so at some point this weekend I'd like to go see her, if she's up to it. Prior to the surgery she said she wanted us to wait until next weekend, but maybe she's changed her mind.

I'd like to go to the home & garden show sunday, but I don't know how Steve feels about that.

My other dream is taking the boys to see Cinderella, because I want to see it :)

  • Fri: Taking the dog to Bark and Brew at Animal Friends.  Beer tasting for us and dog sniffing for her :)

Sat: Stopping at market square for a bit and then out to dinner with a friend before going to see the friend's daughter in the high school musical

Sun: Pens game and St. Pats party.  Sadly the party will be cut short by a conflict in schedule with the game but we will at least stop by for a little bit.

  • Busy weekend ahead---

Tonite - work at fish fry then home to get ready for company tomorrow, cook/clean/etc..

Tomorrow - Basketball games at 10 then head down to {rainy?} parade, back home to host DH's family for Irish dinner, clean & collapse !

Sunday - lector at 8:30, head to work for a bit, back home to collapse again & get ready for the week.

It's a date. I wasn't able to convince him to go.

I did get him to a furniture store to look at new couches, since ours are shot. We ended up buying an updated version of what we already have, because he loves them so...They're even the same shades of beige. Big update--cushions are now flippable and the fabric is microfiber. Casual guests to our house would never notice they've been switched out.
