T&Ps Please
My great grandma was admitted to the hospital last night. She had her
96th birthday last Thursday. Lily's middle name is after her. They
thought she had a stroke and ran some tests last night but this morning
they don't think it was a stroke. Right now they aren't sure what it
is. And I'm irrationally annoyed that I always find out news like this
from my sister. My mom never tells me this stuff and my mom was even
texting me last night about other stuff. That's not what's important
though.
So if you could send some T&Ps for my great grandma,
please. She really is an amazing woman. She lived on her own until
about 2-3 years ago. Now she is in assisted living due to her spine
starting to twist so she needs some help getting around. And she has
some hearing loss. This is really the first major health issue she has had.
And I'm really torn on what to do. She lives in Cheyenne which is about 1 and 1/2 hours away. I feel like I should go visit, but Lily has a cold. If I don't go today, I won't be able to go until next week maybe. Lily has an appt Thursday and I have a shift for work Friday and Saturday right now. Sunday hasn't been confirmed yet. But I don't want to take Lily up and expose everyone to her cold. (Seriously, she woke up from her nap on Saturday with a slightly running nose and was full on congested on Sunday, her birthday. Poor kid.) She's not running a fever.
