Re: QOTD 3/19

  • I liked school mostly.  Loved college--not just college life but my actual courses.  Law school sucked.  If it was free I'd take some more college classes.

  • Sometimes? All I know is, by the time I finished my masters degree, my thought on the matter was "NEVER AGAIN." And I still feel that way. School is good, but done is done.

  • I liked school. I would take some for fun college classes right now, but wouldn't go back full time.

Eventually I will need to go back for my Master's, but not right now.

  • I like school. College was okay, grad school was great but I think its bc I was taking classes specific to my degree and I was more interested in that. I wouldnt go back, there are not any classes to further my degree, not interested in a PhD nor an admin degre.

  • I hated school. I had a hard time academically, which is why I didn't enjoy it. Even in college I struggled, granted it was easier for me than high school and I enjoyed some of my classes in first year
But at the start of second year I realized I didn't want a career in my field; I chose to finish and graduate anyway though.

  • I enjoyed the semester I spent in college and I've always wanted to go back, but it just hasn't been possible. Hopefully one day.

  • I loved school.  I love learning, I don't love tests.  Jeff wants me to get my masters, but part of me would love to take classes for fun.  I would love to take a photograph (DSLR) class!

  • I love to learn, but after a Ph.D. no more degrees for me!

  • Sometimes yes and sometimes no. I sometimes would like to go back, but not in addition to the responsibilities I have now.

  • I think the only thing I miss about school are the people and being involved in band.

If I did go back, I know I'd have issues. I graduated in April of 2011. About a few months later, I wound up taking one class just because I wanted to (American Sign Language). Those few months off really did a number on me. All these other people are focused and ready to learn and I was just exhausted after a half hour of studying. I passed. That's all that mattered.

  • I liked school in general. I would definitely go back if I didn't have to write any papers. DH and I can go to the local community college for almost free and we have both thought about taking classes. I have had my eye on a surveying class or a photography class.

  • I didn't love school, but I didn't hate it.  I only got my master's because I was required too.  If I didn't need a master's, I probably wouldn't have.  I am required to have a certain amount of professional development hours every 5 years and I have to take classes.  It's pretty miserable.  I don't know if I have the patience to sit in a classroom anymore.
