Oh my!  I know where we are staying the next time we go to the city.  This will be perfect for our 10th anniversary getaway!

[didn't dare look at their rates so I can continue to dream]

  • Honestly- I didn't find the rates to be that bad (as it includes breakfast, reception, etc).

My thing (as I did try to book here for next month as we are going to NYC as a fam) is it doesn't look like they have double rooms.  Which stunk.  So, obviously out for us.

  • $350-400 a night for a hotel room is insane to me.  Normally when we travel, we just use the room for sleeping and showering.  We're gone the majority of the time so it doesn't make sense for us.

I might do it for this place for one night though.  :o)

I'm so irritated about dang expensive hotel rooms - $369/night for Spring Training, $440/night for The Grand Californian at Disneyland. I remember back in the 80's when you could get a room for $14.99/night. What the actual hell.

  • Whoa, that looks amazing. It's probably out of my price range too, but I can dream!

I feel like this hotel is meant to be stayed in and enjoyed. Almost like a B&B but in the city. I actually told H it as too bad it was in NYC because why go to NYC and staying in the hotel most of the time.

H and I are pros at priceline for hotels.
