Century old trash to treasure uncovered in Toronto
Like the mythical City of Brigadoon (which only appears once every hundred years) the 1870s Toronto shoreline enjoys the sunlight again today.

This spot in history is first represented on an 1859 map,

The O.S.&H.R. Railway Depot was here - today the site is rich with antique bottles that were just trash 130 years ago, swept off the steamers and into the lake.

fort, the T-shaped Queens Wharf (now underneath
Bathurst St.) and right beside it, the busy O.S.and H.R. railway wharf
