I'm here-ish. My life is a bit crazy right now, and I'm pretty sure no one else really cares about the things that get me all excited these days (poop! Drool! Holding hands!) So tend to keep them to myself.

But @Apollo11235 - I'm in CT! Where will you be?

    UConn :) Are you close?

  • I lurk here, but for some reason cannot post here (stupid mobile). I love hearing updates, but most of mine are posted to gpm (which is weird that I can post there and not here).

Life keeps on going for us. DH is doing well with his job, and I'm just trying to make mine work. I enjoy my clients though. We are hoping to move to Kentucky beginning of next year.

Where in KY are y'all planning to move (If you are ok with sharing)? My ILs live just outside Lexington. They love it there!

Most likely Louisville. It's where my family lives. I grew up in nky and lived in Lexington in college. I love Lexington! It's such a great town!

So many of you are in my thoughts and prayers.  I am so happy to see successes, and so heartbroken to see challenges.

I'm a newb to this board but a regular on MM. We're just working, taking a big vacay in May and then planning on TTC when we get back. In the meantime, I've started trying to temp and do OPKs, neither of which are going too great...

  • @als1982 have you read TCOYF? I highly recommend it, though of course there are challenges to charting even if you know what you're doing.

  • I've not been here in awhile, by life has been a bit topsy turvy recently.  I was laid off 2 weeks ago, my Dad spent a week in ICU before finally being able to have a triple bypass last week (he is now home and doing great).

About a month before that I was diagnosed with PCOS and I am supposed to lose some weight but life got crazy and I lost 3 pounds then gained them back by stress eating.  :(

My primary problem is poor sleep and frequently changing my sleep setting in the middle of the night to the guest bedroom or living room couch, or forgetting to temp in the a.m. when I actually sleep through the night in our master bedroom.  :(  I  did get my first positive OPK today though!!

  • I am here when TN lets me log on, too. I rarely use my laptop (though I am today), and it's the only time I can post. TN is such a PITA on mobile.

We have really no updates. DH and I had our catharsis a few weeks ago when we decided to go to PBK. I have crib parts in my garage right now. I'm not ready to let them in the house. If we do not have a match by 4/15, we are going to increase the amount we are willing to spend on our adoption (this would open us up to more opportunities). We are getting really antsy and do not want to wait much longer. This has been an extremely painful 3+ years, and we just want to bring our little one home.

Only real updates is that I moved to a different library branch so I could get more hours, and that DH and I suspect I have vaginismus (tl;dr I have a mental block that causes physical difficulty with sexy-time penetration).  It's not officially diagnosed - not even sure if I should see just an OB/GYN or if I'd have to find a sex therapist?

  • Im around, but am primarily mobile right now and we all know how that works (aka doesn't).

New with us... If you didn't see on GPM, my brother was killed in a major car accident in January. Our family has been turned upside down with this and at this point we're just getting by. I've been spending my maternity leave helping my parents get his affairs in order, and trying to figure out how they're going to get the crops planted this spring without his help. We've been cleaning out his house, selling his toys, and trying to button up the loose ends of his business. Along with settling his estate since he had no will.

    BR

Between that and becoming parents 4 weeks after he passed, our life has been a whirlwind of crazy.

  • @poppies717 I hope y'all get a match very soon!

@arj14 I'm sorry to hear about that, and I hope you find the right person to help!

@brij2006 Congrats on the birth of your baby. I'm so sorry that your brother passed away. I can't imagine how hard that is. Big hugs to you and your family!

  • @AprilZ81 - I'm so sorry that life, in general, is so rough right now. Glad to hear your dad is doing better! Hoping that things start looking up for you soon!

@poppies717 - FX that you get a match before 4/15, but if not, I hope you get one soon after you're able to increase your spending amount. Can't wait to see how adorable your nursery turns out when it's time! :)

@arj14 - I'd probably start with the OB/GYN just to make sure there isn't something physical going on. Plus, he/she may have recommendations on someone more qualified to help with that. GL!

@brij2006 - I am so so sorry about your brother. :( Huge hugs to you and your family.
