  • I'm a wine snob. I fully admit it.  I've been completely spoiled by my wine loving, and very generous, friend. He brings us the most amazing bottles. He brings us proper, somm quality glasses to drink them in. I blame him for my snobbery.

Then again, to be fair to myself, I'm a snob about quality, not price. I've had $20 wines that were terrific, and $100 wines that were not.

  • I've started looking into a newer car since mine needs more work than I am willing to spend, given its age and I have rejected some cars in my price range because I don't like the console/ dashboard

  • I am way too excited about the weekend because I finally get to do all the laundry in the house, organize the garage, re-arrange our home office and clean the bathroom from top to bottom. Yay for free time for projects!!

  • My inside of my car could be confused for the local garbage dump right now. I need to clean that sucker out so bad!

  • I forgot my cell phone today and I'm SO discombobulated.  Of course daycare sent me an email that they think that Wes now has conjunctivitis and I can't get a hold of J to figure out the pediatrician.  I've let them know where to call me if I need to pick him up, but now I'm all anxious and not having my phone isn't helping.

Also, Wes should definitely skip my nephew's 2nd birthday party tomorrow if he has it, right?  It will be close the 24 hour mark on antibiotics if that's the case, but I just don't think it's a good idea.  I feel like a total d-bag though.  We are like the only representatives from my family going.  Everyone else is traveling or has other obligations.  And Wes has been talking about my nephew for days and is excited to see him.

That stinks! I would keep him home if I were you, but could you arrange a get together with them next week/weekend?

We're doing Easter the weekend after so we'll see them soon.  I know my nephew won't really care/remember, but I feel bad.  Since it's my side of the family, I think I'll go and have Wes stay home with J.

  • I hate to be one of those people who whine online, but I'm really tired of being in pain from my foot surgery in December, and it's really getting me down today. My short trip into Ulta to get foundation and then to the other end of the average/small sized mall and back to grab food made me want to scream and demand a wheelchair, which so isn't like me because I cannot stand to be impeded by physical limitations and I usually power through the pain.

I need a hug. And better drugs.

  • My husband is hosting a Wrestlemania party on Sunday.  I'm planning on hiding in our bedroom.  I have my books, my tv and a bathroom in there so I'm good.  I'll bring in food and something to drink and be good to go.

I know it's more because he misses the people he used to work with but I'm not looking forward to Wrestlemania.

My bank machine is located in the local bookstore. So even though I am on a spending freeze because I am broke, I still bought Alex a new book today. How can I be expected to go in a bookstore and come out empty handed?!?!

My husband is GOING to Wrestlemania. LOL

I actually usually go with him, but I opted out on this one since I'm pg. I have been to five Wrestlemanias or something ridiculous.

How is he today? Pink eye is the freaking worst. We've had two rounds of it this year. The drops work amazingly well and very quickly though. As long as there is no discharge this morning the party is probably fine!

:)  If we could have afforded it, I'm sure mh would have found a way to go.

Turns out he has a double ear infection too so he's cranky, but fine.   The drops worked AWESOME.  Very little discharge today and none by tonight so he's on the mend!  I didn't end up taking him to the party.  My SIL isn't super forgiving about that stuff so it was better safe than sorry.

That being said, the party was SO over the top.  My SIL is so crazy into pinterest-type parties.  Part of me wanted to laugh it off, but part if it made be feel totally inadequate.
