Where do you buy your flowers? (north)

If you're in the north hills, where do you go to buy your flowers every year?  I tend to buy the "traditional" flowers (geraniums, impatiens, etc) at Home Depot or Lowes because I've found them to be the cheapest (and I've always been happy with the quality)  But there are some flowers they don't carry there, and last year I went to Hahns to get those....while I was happy with the quality, the price was a bit high.  Anywhere else I can check this year?

We used to go to Brenckle's on Mt. Troy Road, mostly because it was super convenient but I was always super happy with the quality and huge selection.

Also you could try Best Feed on Babcock although their selection is okay.

Reilly's has a nice selection also.

  • I'm still looking for a place!  We used to go to Hartman's on Reis Run Road, but they are no longer there.  I've yet to find matching quality!

We've been doing a mixture of Lowes, Home Depot, Hahn's and Best Feed.  We'll probably try Brenckles this year.

  • Meghan - try the place out by your folks. Schweikert's - it's maybe 2.5-3m from them (headed back towards Cranberry). Bock Lane to Bradford Park - make a right onto Golden Grove. About 1.5 down, on the right, just after the hill and bend (in othere words, they come up fast on your right!).

Click on the flyer link and you'll see coupons.

I was always very happy with the quality and overall price. http://schweikertgreenhouse.com/

  • Thanks for the recommendation!  We will have to give them a try!
