Edge of Eternity (probably spoilers) by Ken Follett
Hi, remember me? I "see" so many of you guys on FB that it's easy to forget that I haven't actually been active on this board in months!
Anyway . . . Edge of Eternity.
I love Ken Follett, and I really, really loved the first two books in this series, but this one is just not as good. I feel like he's doing a great job of hitting the highlights of the historical period that he's writing about, but the characters and their interactions feel sort of forced after 3 generations, kwim? I'm listening to it and am currently on disc 21 of 26, so I'm near then end. Don't get me wrong, I like the book, but it's just not as good as the first two. Anyone else get this feeling?
