  • I walked 2.3 miles at lunch Tuesday, and FINALLY got 10k steps!  Then I was too busy to pee yesterday.  I hope to walk again today though.

    It's a program that involves portion control by using different sized containers for different types of food, and also comes with workout DVDs. I've been hedging because of the cost, but I might just cave and try it because everyone I know who does it seems to have gotten results, and my scale has NOT been budging lately.

    You figure out your calorie level and from there it is determined how many of each colored containers you are allowed per day (red is protein, green is veg, purple is fruit, yellow are carbs, etc). Then like any other beach body workout there are the dvds, and you do the workout on the assigned day, I keep starting and stopping the program, but i am determined to get to day 21. 
    I think you can just buy the containers/eating plan and not the work outs if that is something you have under control. I will say they are never more than 30 min which with a kid is perfect for me to get a workout in and shower during nap time, etc.

  • While on vacation we walked so much. Saturday we went outlet shopping then for a 3-ish mile hike. I got in 25,000 steps that day. Tuesday we went for a 5.5-mile hike UP A MOUNTAIN! I was sooo proud of myself!! Today I'll be lucky to get in 5,000. Tomorrow = back to the gym
