Throne of Glass & Crown of Midnight (NS)

I know, I'm late, but I'm on this train. WHO'S WITH ME?!

The first book was sort of meh, right? It took me a bit to get into it and accept the world and realize that I didn't completely hate Celaena. But holy shit. The second book? THE SECOND BOOK.

I was fanning myself for most of it. And then crying. And then throwing things. And then crying again. And now I just started the third one to realize that the series is not complete.

WHY do I always do this to myself??!

We agreed on two books in one month.  Can't let it get out of hand.

  • Mmmm the 3rd book is so yummy. Enjoy!

The 4th is out in October, so that's not very long to wait. The cover reveal happened last month, and it's excellent.

Don't forget to go back and read the prequel short stories. You can buy them separately or all together in The Assassin's Blade.

Same. The beginning of book 3 was so bleak. Understandably so, but man the first 25% was hard for me to get through.

I think I like the premise of the books but I just plain hate the character names. I think they just look stupid & I'm reluctant to start because of that. I have guesses for how they're pronounced but I always go back to thinking how weird the names look. :-< Pet peeve I guess.

heehee I read the entire first book saying Ch-oal, rhymes with coal. And consciously forced myself to say Kale every time for book two. It was exhausting.
